Belgian embassy at HMSU plant India
On April 20, we had the pleasure to welcome the Belgian embassy of Mumbai & Flanders Trade investment to our HMSU plant Ahmedabad in India, where industrial rollers are recovered since 2012.
The purpose of their visit is to be able to understand what kind of business Belgian companies are doing, how they can support them in the future and how they can create more opportunities between both countries.
Strengthening our position in India through the expansion of the factory in Ahmedabad
We are delighted to announce the expansion of the factory in Ahmedabad, India! We have erected a new building of 1500 square meters, bringing our total production space to 4500 square meters.
The new space will be utilized to further expand our polyurethane activities and to optimize the coating of rolls for the packaging and printing industries.
This expansion marks a significant step in our growth strategy, enabling us to meet the increasing demand for our products and services in India and around the world.
HMSU Rollers Ahead with Solar Power at Ahmedabad Factory
HMSU Rollers is proud to announce the successful installation of a 500 kW rooftop solar power plant at its Ahmedabad factory.
This green initiative marks a significant milestone in our journey towards cleaner and more sustainable operations. The solar plant will generate approximately one-third of our facility’s average electricity requirements, resulting in a substantial reduction in both energy costs and environmental impact.
With this investment, HMSU expects to reduce carbon emissions by nearly 700 tons annually reflecting our strong commitment to sustainability and responsible manufacturing.
This solar project not only supports our eco-friendly vision but also enhances long-term operational efficiency.
